Rules and Regulations for Grant Solicitations
Por Pobreza / Pobreza Infantil is a foundation dedicated to promoting equal opportunity and social welfare. With the objective of supporting non-profit organizations that work with low-income children, applications are invited for a grant of no more than $8,000. A total of five beneficiary organizations will be selected.
- Eligibility Organizations wishing to apply for assistance must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a legally constituted non-profit organization.
- To have a focus on the care and support of low-income children.
- Have a proven track record of work in specific areas, such as education, health or social development.
- Amount and use of funds:
Each beneficiary organization will receive a grant of no more than $8,000. The funds must be used for expenses related to programs, projects, educational materials or other items that directly benefit the low-income children served by the organization.
- Application process interested organizations should submit an application that includes:
- Completed application form available at the end of this document by clicking "Apply today".
- Copy of the legal documentation proving the non-profit status of the organization.
- Annual activity reports and financial statements for the last two years
- Detailed description of the project or program that will benefit from the donation.
- Work plan to be carried out with the donation.
- Amount to be requested.
- Applications are made virtually through the Google Form available at the end of this document "Apply Today" before the deadline established by the schedule.
- Selection criteria:
Applicant organizations will be evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:
- Community impact and outreach to beneficiaries
- Sustainability and innovation of the proposed project or programs
- Previous experience and ability to manage the organization
- Transparency and efficiency in the use of resources
- Obligations of beneficiary organizations
The selected organizations must:
- Use the funds as proposed in the application and in accordance with the Por Pobreza - Child Poverty guidelines.
- Submit semi-annual progress reports on the use of funds and the progress of the funded project or program.
- Allow follow-up visits by representatives of Por Pobreza- Pobreza Infantil.
- Publicly acknowledge the support of Por Pobreza / Child Poverty, in activities and materials related to the funded project or program.

- Call for Proposals: January 19, 2024
- Closing date: March 29, 2024.
- Evaluation Process: March 30 to June 29, 2024.
- Communication of Results: June 30, 2024.

- Confidentiality and data protection
- Por Pobreza/Child Poverty, guarantees that the information provided by applicant organizations will be treated confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The information collected will only be used for the purposes of evaluation and monitoring of the call for proposals.
- Reservations and modifications
- Por Pobreza /Pobreza Infantil reserves the right to make changes to the rules, modify deadlines, or cancel the call if necessary, prior notification to the participating organizations. Modifications will be communicated through the Por Pobreza/Child Poverty website and other official means of communication.

By participating in this call, organizations agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in these preliminary regulations. Submission of the application implies acceptance of all clauses and provisions contained herein.
